Day 19 Shang He to Ding Xi

Today we woke up to beautiful scenery and we had a very peaceful sleep. Many farmers that were out early in the fields were puzzled of our existence....We had some fruit for breakfast and then we jumped on the saddle.
今天我们在美丽的景色中醒来，昨晚睡得也很安稳。很多早上来地里干活的农民都对于我们的出现感到困惑…我们早餐吃了些水果，然后就踏上了我们的自行车。

We met many cyclists today...A few gentlemen had the Truong Huynh setup of plastic bags for panniers and one duffle bag on the back rack....The only thing missing was a oil can and hammer dangling from the handle bars....When I compare our bikes to other travelers, we are rocking mobile homes....
我们今天遇到了很多骑车的人…有几个人的装扮像Truong Huynh 一样，用塑料袋当侧边篮，后面的架子上放一个帆布包…只差一个油罐子和挂在自行车把手上的锤子…和他们比起来，我们的车子强多了，简直就是移动的家。

We covered a lot of ground through the mountains and we stopped for our daily Muslim fix in a city called Hui Ning. I ordered a dish that is typically for two and the owner believed that it was too much food for one person...l tried making a bet with the owner that if I finish the plate, I would get one free...but he learned quickly that I can put away large amounts of meat.... It was a great place and the owner gave us a little tour of the city to make sure we continued on the right path.
我们今天骑了很多山路，在会宁停下来吃了每天必点的穆斯林食物。我点了一道给两个人吃的菜，店主认为这对一个人来说太多了…我试着和他打赌，如果我吃完了，这道菜就免费…但是他马上发现我很能吃肉…这是一个好地方，店主给我们指了路，以确保我们不会走错。

After lunch we continued up into the mountains. The scenery has been unbelievable....We are surrounded by beautiful canyons and valleys. Everywhere you look is stunning and the uphill climbs don't seem so strenuous when your views are so spectacular.
吃好午餐后我们继续向山里骑行。这里的风景简直像世外桃源一样...我们四周都是峡谷。从每个角度看都很壮观，当你的看到这样的美景，骑车上山时的艰苦便烟消云散了。

The children throughout the mountains work very hard at a very young age. I thought I worked hard when I was young delivering papers three times a week....It is nice to perform a random act of kindness to these people and they always offer something in return.
山里的孩子很小就开始干很重的活了。我小时候每周送3次报纸就觉得自己很辛苦了…有时偶然给他们一些帮助也很好，他们或多或少会给你一些回报。

We are getting very close to Qinghai! We are looking forward to jumping in the lake and going for a swim! We are pushing hard up these hills everyday and we are looking forward to the road ahead of us.....Jiayou baby!
我们离青海越来越近了！我们很期待跳到湖里去游泳！我们天天都很卖力地向山上骑车，我们很憧憬前方未知的道路...加油！
