After 5342 km cycled and seven loads of equipment distributed we have cycled across China and we are now in Kashgar! We would like to thank the people of China for their generosity, encouragement and making us feel welcomed throughout our travels...We battled through sand storms, headwinds, freezing rain, bike repairs...but it never broke our spirits because we were determined to share our vision and passion with the people. The excitement and joy from the children and youth was worth every km cycled and you wouldn't have to ask us twice to do it all over again! China has so much to offer from the beautiful people to the landscapes and we are forever grateful for allowing us to experience your amazing country...
骑行了5342公里，分发出7车体育器材，我们终于成功骑车穿越了中国！从上海来到了喀什！我们非常感谢中国朋友的慷慨相助和不断鼓励，让我们觉得自己在整个骑行过程中很受欢迎！我们战胜了沙尘暴、大风、冻雨、车损…这些困难从来没有打垮我们，因为我们一直和朋友们分享着我们的愿景和激情。看见孩子们和年轻人由此所产生的兴奋和快乐，我们觉得每一公里的付出都值得，你不需要问我们两次，我们会毫不犹豫的说愿意再来一次！中国的人们是如此善良，中国的景色是如此美丽，能让我们在你们这样神奇的国度里进行这样一次神奇的旅行，我们将永远心怀感激…

We would like to say thank you to our friends and family....Your words of encouragement fueled our engines and you motivated us to keep moving forward. Thank you Ho Young for your hard work, positive attitude and dedication throughout our journey. The road is coming to close to the end, but we are fighting hard to make ground...I feel at times we are in a movie struggling across long stretches of desert trying to reach our destination and I often taunt mother nature questioning it's strength and wondering when we will come across a beautiful water cooler...Yesterday there was a earthquake in Hetian prefecture and we just finished cycling through that region today...Luckily we avoided that natural disturbance and we made it safely through to the Kashgar prefecture.
旅程渐渐接近终点，但是我们还是很挣扎着前进…有时候我觉得自己仿佛在一部电影里：挣扎着穿越一望无际的沙漠向我们的目的地前进，我常常会和大自然母亲开开玩笑，质疑她的能量，更想知道我们什么时候能碰到一个梦寐以求的饮水机…昨天和田发生了地震，我们今天刚刚骑车穿越那个地方。很幸运，我们没有什么大碍，很安全地来到了喀什县境内。

We made few stops yesterday to meet and greet the children....The first group we met were wild and a lot of fun. We showed a few tricks with the skipping rope, even had a few old men jump in on the action! Having fun exists at all ages and sometimes we need to revert back to those old sentiments to feel rejuvenated and refreshed. I often believe when people ask us " ni chong guo lai?" and we tell them Shanghai....they get inspired to maybe get moving, break a sweat or create a goal for themselves they want to achieve..People are attracted to passion and I am sure down the line we have made positive impression with a few individuals...
我们昨天停留了几次和孩子们玩耍…第一群孩子很狂野，很有趣。我们展示了一些跳绳的技巧，甚至有老人也来一起跳！任何年龄的人都有颗童心，有时候我们需要这样的返璞归真。我常常相信当人们问我们“你中国来？”、我们回答说“上海”时，他们会受到一些启发而开始一些行动，为他们自己设定一个目标去完成。人们往往会被热情所感染，我确信我在这个正确的方向上做的不错，我们已经带给人们一些积极的影响了…

We are getting closer to our destination and we are currently in a town called Yarkant. Yesterday we stopped heading west and now we are moving north towards Kashgar which is 190 km away. Go to go back to that familiar seat and keep on moving. Much love coming from the haul 2 play camp...Jiayou!!!! We are almost there baby!
我们离最终目的地越来越近，现在来到了叶尔羌镇。昨天我们没有继续朝西而是向北朝着190公里外的喀什前进。回到那熟悉的座位上，坚持骑行。在此我替自己和小柳同学向大家传达一下对你们的关心和想念…加油！我们就要到了！

Day 41 on the bicycle and we have lost complete sensation in our butts....We had big plans to finish our journey on Wednesday, but we are enjoying all the people we are meeting in Xinjiang and we have came to terms long ago that the winds are not changing direction! The only rest we receive is at night because when we stop, we are playing or demonstrating some type of skill to the kids....It honestly gives us energy and the best part is looking back to witness the chaos that ensues from kids playing with one another...This is the learning environment that educates kids how to coexist together and when we are young we don't care about the mistakes we make or how silly we look...Kids are just enjoying themselves and from the beginning of our journey our goal is to give children the privilege to play and I feel that our vision is being accomplished....
第四十一个工作日是在自行车上度过的，我们骑得屁股都麻木了…我们雄心勃勃的想在周3完成这次旅程，尽管我们很喜欢在新疆遇见的这些朋友，我们早就对风向不报指望了，因为它从来没有改变方向！唯一能休息的时候就是晚上，因为我们停下来时都在给孩子们示范各种各样的体育技巧…这让我们充满活力，最好的地方在于回头看看这些孩子们玩耍时的快乐。在这种环境下，孩子们可以通过这种玩耍的方式学会怎样与别人共处。我们还年轻，不在乎我们犯了什么错误，也不在乎我们看起来傻乎乎的…孩子们玩的开心就好，这是从我们的这次旅行一开始就设定的目标，我们就是要让孩子们开心玩耍，我觉得我们的目的完成的很好。

Today Ho Young spoke about the butterfly effect and he is curious to see how our contributions might lead to great achievement with the children we encounter. We have shared the gift of sport and play with many people and we hope it is a platform that will lead to future success.
今天小柳同学谈起了蝴蝶效应，他很想知道我们的这次行为能给这些孩子们带来什么样的改变。我们把运动当作礼物，和很多朋友一起玩耍，我们希望这个平台可以给有助于他们未来的成功人生。

We are now in a town called Pishan and we just had dinner and played soccer with a few boys from the restaurant. We are spending the night with a family and I am basically sleeping in the living room as the two boys in the family try to figure where I came from...It just adds to the amazing journey we have experienced and we are forever grateful for the road that has lead us here...We are 350 km away from Kashgar...Going to get some rest to get ready to wrestle the winds...
我们现在来到了皮山镇，刚刚吃过晚饭，又和餐馆里的几个男孩子踢了会儿足球。我们在一个人家里过夜了，我还睡在他们的起居室里，他家的两个男孩子很想知道我来自哪里…这些都增加了我们的神奇经历，我们将永远感谢脚下的路，是它指引我们来到这里…我们离喀什只有350公里了…现在要去休息了，准备好跟大风再次过招…

We met these boys along the highway and they were picking up bottles to help out their family.It was nice to be able to give something they really appreciate....
我们在国道上遇见这些孩子，他们正在检拾垃圾瓶子以贴补家用。能送给他们一些他们喜爱的东西，让人感觉很好。

We gave this girl a couple of badminton rackets to play with when she is not busy at the family store....
我们给了这个姑娘一对羽毛球拍，希望她能在她家的商店生意不忙的时候可以玩玩。

Lately mother nature has been pushing us around...We left Hetian later in the afternoon because we refilled the trailer. I have been continuously impressed with Ho Young's positive outlook. At times the riding is tough....and lately the winds have been taking us for ride, but Ho Young keeps smiling and pushing forward regardless of mother nature's temper.
近来大自然母亲一直在推动我们前进…我们在下午才离开和田，因为我们收到了装备，又把小拖车装满了。我一直对小柳同学积极乐观的心态印象深刻。尤其是在骑得很累的时候…这几天风一直很大，但是，不管大自然母亲发什么脾气，小柳同学一直微笑前进着。

We made many stops along our travels yesterday teaching kids badminton skills. We met many brothers and sisters yesterday and we thought giving them badminton rackets would be a nice way for them to practice together.
昨天的旅程我们停了好多站，教孩子们打羽毛球的技巧。我们昨天遇到很多兄弟姐妹，我们想多送一些羽毛拍给他们，可能会有助于他们练习。

We were crossing the desert yesterday and our destination we were suppose to be heading to was 120 km away and it was close to getting dark. You can tell from the picture that there isn't too many great camping spots along this stretch, but we somehow ended up in a warehouse positioned on military grounds...We were thankful we found this spot because the winds were so strong...
我们昨天是在穿越沙漠地带，预定的目的地在120公里外的地方，但是天色渐渐暗了。从图片上可以看出，那里没有什么好地方可以安营扎寨，但是我们不知怎么回事发现了一个军营的仓库…我们很庆幸能找到这么一个地方，因为风实在太大了…

Today we have an early start and we are ready to battle the winds. We are going to go as far as our bodies will permit us to travel. We have lots of equipment to distribute and lots of distance to cover....Here we go for our last push!
今天我们出发的很早，准备好迎风大干一场。我们准备一直不停的骑，直到筋疲力尽为止。我们还有很多准备要送出去，很多的路要走…出发了，进行最后一搏吧！

Yesterday was tough riding. Temperatures were high and the headwind was strong! For the first time we came across a sign that shows Kashgar....and now we are 500 km away. We are planning on finishing our trip in four days if all goes well!
昨天骑得真艰难，气温很高，又是强劲的顶风！我们第一次看见了标有喀什的指路牌…现在它只在500公里远的地方了。如果一切顺利，我们计划在4天内完成剩下的这段路程。

We are getting frustrated with the post office as we are still waiting for our last load. We are hoping that it comes to us in the next couple of days. We are now in the city of Hetian (Hotan) and it feels like we are in another country! Ho Young has officially lost his powers to communicate....The people are predominantly Uyrhur people which are a Turkic ethnic group. The food is fantastic and they have been helping us out to the best of their ability.
但是邮局的情况很让我们很失望，我们还在等待我们的最后一批装备。希望两天内就到我们手里。现在我们就在和田，这里给人感觉就像是另外一个国家！小柳同学正式宣布下课，他的汉语在这里已经无法沟通…这里大多数是维吾尔族人。食物很好吃，他们尽其所能的帮助了我们。

Today we will be heading north along the 315 highway and spending the night in Pishan. Time to get moving and we will see everyone very soon...
今天我们将沿着315国道向北前进，准备在皮山过夜。就要动身回家了，不久就要见到各位了…

Today we took off from Minfeng and started making our way towards Hetian (Hotan). We enjoyed our time in Minfeng and we ate at a fantastic restaurant in the city center. We were cooking today on the bikes and we were covering a lot of ground. We reached a town called Keriya and we met a couple who are hitch hiking from the Ukraine and heading towards the unknown. They were nice company and they gave us hemp bracelets as a gift. In exchange we gave them some bananas....Good luck to the two of you and if you need help don't hesitate to call us！
我们今天从民丰出发，朝着和田前进。在民丰的日子很令我们享受，我们在市中心的一个餐馆里吃到了非常好吃的食物。今天我们得在自行车上自己做饭了，又走了好长一段路，来到了一个叫于田的小镇，在这里我们遇见一对从乌克兰来的徒步旅行者，他们也不知道自己的目的地是哪里。他们是很友好的同伴，送给了我们大麻手镯作为纪念，我们则给了他们一些香蕉…祝你们两人好运！如果需要帮助别忘记找我们！

We continued venturing through the city and we decided to stop to buy some water. There were a few kids around so we gave them a frisbee. Ho Young was playing with a couple of the boys and he tossed the frisbee towards one of the kids and the boy wasn't looking and it hit him right in the nose. The father came storming out of the store and took the frisbee and threw it on top of the roof. He was irate and told us we needed to take his son to the hospital....First off it was an accident and secondly, the boy was hurt for a moment and clearly didn't need any special attention. If Ho Young would have broken his nose, then of course we would have taken the appropriate action, but this was not the case....A bunch of locals appeared on the scene trying to calm down the angry father and I could tell they were on our side because they witnessed the act of charity and the accident that took place. In the end both sides couldn't understand one another and we climbed on to the roof to retrieve the frisbee and apologized for the accident that took place...
我们则继续在城市里游玩，也停下来买了一些水。我们周围有几个孩子，我们就给了他们一个飞盘。小柳同学和两个男孩子玩了会儿飞盘，当他把飞盘扔向其中一个孩子时，那个孩子没有看到飞盘过来了，他很不幸被飞盘打到了鼻子。他的父亲很愤怒地从一个商店里跑了过来，捡起飞盘就扔到房顶上去了，他依然很生气，说我们需要带他的孩子去医院看看…首先，这只是个意外，再者，那男孩子只是被碰了一下，显然不需要送医院。如果小柳同学打断了他的鼻子，那显然我们应该去医院，但现在不是那么回事…这时候上来了一群人，他们帮着安慰那个生气的父亲，我能确定他们是站在我们一边的，因为他们看见了我们在做公益，也看见了意外发生的过程。但是直到最后，我们双方还是不明白对方的意思，我们就爬上房顶捡回飞盘，并且对所发生的意外道歉…

Today we cycled for 150 km and we decided to confront a family about staying on their property for the evening. We got rejected once prior to us finding a location; however, the police and head military official showed up on the scene...We still don't know how they found us, but I believe the word must have spread after we got rejected from the first family we confronted. The police told us we couldn't spend the night at this location because it was a matter of security....In the end we obeyed the officer's request and they placed us in a compound for the evening....We were disappointed because the family was very kind and we gave them our last soccer ball for showing us their hospitality.
今天我们骑了150公里了，我们决定找个人家过夜。但是遭到了拒绝，我们就只能找地方安营扎寨了。不过，警察和部队领导却出现了…我们一直纳闷他们怎么发现我们的呢？但是我相信在我们被第一个人家拒绝的时候，就有人给他们通风报信了。警察告诉我们说不能在那里过夜，因为涉及到安全问题…最后我们服从了他们的要求，他们把我们安置在一个人家过夜…这家人非常友善，但是我们觉得有些不好意思，因为我们只有最后一个足球了，没办法多给他们一些东西表示感谢。

Tomorrow we will be heading to Hetian which is 135 km away. We are now 650 km away from Kashgar...I can't believe our journey is almost coming to an end....I wish I could just keep on going to Kyrgyzstan...We are still waiting to hear from Decathlon about the equipment situation...We really hope it comes to us soon! All the best...
明天我们将继续朝和田前进，还有135公里。我们现在离喀什650公里…我几乎不敢相信我们的这次旅行快结束了…我多希望自己还能继续向前骑，一直骑到吉尔吉斯斯坦…我们还在等待迪卡侬的告诉我们装备在哪里的消息…希望尽快拿到装备！一切顺利…

Yesterday we continued cycling towards Minfeng and we decided to setup camp 130 km away from Minfeng. The winds were challenging and our progress was slow...Tomorrow is a another day...
昨天我们继续向着民丰骑行，后来决定在离民丰130公里的地方安营扎寨。大风依然非常有挑战性，我们前进的很慢…明天又将是艰难的一天。

Today we cycled hard and we had 125 km to reach Niya. The scenery was beautiful and we were surrounded by sand and snow capped mountains. The weather was fantastic and it was a great day for riding...
今天骑得很辛苦，我们骑行了125公里来到民丰。这里风景太优美了，我们周围全是沙丘和群山。天气也很好，对于我们骑行来说是美好的一天…

We had to hustle to Niya because we needed to pick up our final load of equipment; however, for some reason the equipment ended up in the north of Xinjiang 1200 km away...Decathlon is figuring out why it ended up at that location and they told us we should be receiving the order in a couple of days....
我们不得不急急忙忙赶到民丰，因为我们需要补充最后一批装备了。但是不知道什么原因，这些装备却还在离我们1200公里远的新疆北部呢…迪卡侬正在找原因，他们告诉我们可能还需要等几天才能收到…

Our next destination is Hetian and we are 300 km away. We need to take a shower we haven't washed in a few days...Our bodies are feeling great and our spirits are high! We are meeting lots of Rougorou people in this region and there is a slight language barrier, but we are loving the diversity we are exposed to in this part of China...Until next time!
我们下一个目的地是和田，还在300公里以外呢。我们需要洗个澡了，好几天没有洗了…我们身体感觉很棒，精神状态正佳。我们遇见了很多这里的当地人，我们之间有一些语言障碍，但是我们很喜欢中国的这块文化多元的地方。再见！

We are really enjoying our time in Xinjiang. I find the people have a tough exterior, but once you break that barrier they are really kind and loving. I didn't want to leave Qiemo because I am enjoying the culture and especially the food. We won over the man who was preparing the "Kabosas" by purchasing 30 of his excellent meat pies and he was all smiles which was a change from our first encounter....
在新疆的这段时间很令我们享受。我发现当地人看上去不太好交流，但是当你多尝试和他们沟通后，他们会变得善良而友爱。我真舍不得离开且末，因为我很欣赏这里的文化，尤其是是食物。我们在那个卖“Kabosas”的老板那里买了30个肉饼，也终于赢得他的笑脸。

Before we left we did a little shopping and we paid a visit to the candy man. We gave him a lot of business, but this morning I found Ho Young eating M&M's for breakfast....but not to worry mom, I have an eye like a hawk and I was quick to point out that he should be eating something more nutritious for breakfast.
在我们离开之前我我们需要采购一些东西。我们造访了一个卖糖的摊子。但是今天早上我发现小柳同学把M&M’s当早餐吃…别担心妈妈，我用我老鹰一样的眼睛时刻盯着他，于是我马上指出他应该吃更有营养的食物。

There was one more thing I felt I needed before we left Qiemo and that was a hat to go with my styling jacket. I found this tailor who more his hat with such confidence, a man of great style and is quiet demeanor and his cool cat mentality attracted my business...He has a great family and I hope that I look as good as he does once I reach his age.
离开且末前我觉得有件事情得做，那就是买顶和我的夹克风格相称的帽子。我发现这样一个对他自己的帽子非常自信的裁缝，他很内向沉稳…他有一个很好的家庭，我希望在我到了他这个年纪的时候也能看着像他一样健壮。

Once we were back on the road we cycled for another 75 km and rode for a total of 135 km. We decided to setup camp right on the sand which was a comfortable sleep. I am writing from a military town in which we stopped for lunch and we are not totally sure if we are suppose to be here...We have cycled 4319 km and everyday we are getting closer to our final destination. Pray for us that everything goes smooth..Here we go!
我们一回到路上就又骑了75公里，总共135公里了，我们决定立马在沙地上安营扎寨，这样会睡的很舒服。我在一个军事小镇上写博文，我们是在这里停下来吃中饭的，也不确定我们能不能待在这里…我们已经骑行了4319公里了，每一天我们都离我们的最终目的地越来越近。祈祷我们一切顺利吧，出发了！

This morning we met this family who lived in a very isolated area. The boys were really happy to see us...
今天早上我们遇见这个家庭，他们生活在一个四周无人的区域。孩子们见到我们非常开心…

There are long stretches where we don't see anyone and we came across this gentlemen collecting bottles along the highway....
又是一长段无人区，直到我们已经这位沿着公路捡废旧瓶子的先生…

Yesterday we left Washixiaxiang early and we continued traveling along the 315 highway to Kashgar. Along our ride we were coming across beautiful sand dunes and we took a moment to relax and enjoy the scenery.
昨天我们很早就离开瓦石峡继续沿着315国道向喀什前进。路上我们穿越了很多美丽的沙丘，有时我们也停下来欣赏风景。

Riding through the dunes is very peaceful and we are really enjoying our time in Xinjiang. We have been trying a variety of different foods and we just reached the city of Qiemo. We found a place that makes "Kabosaa." I tried many times to get this gentlemen creating this fantastic treat to smile for the photo, but he is a man a few words and I felt like I was invading his work space....I was just waiting for him to challenge me to a street fight.....
穿越沙丘时风平浪静的，我们很喜欢新疆。我们试着吃了很多不同的食物，现在是刚刚到达且末。我们看见了一个做“Kabosa”作坊，我试了好几次让这位先生对着我的镜头笑一笑，但是他是寡言少语的人，我甚至觉得我是不是妨碍他工作了…看来我得准备签生死状了…

Yesterday we cycled 140 km and today we have cycled 60 km thus far. We were awakened by a beautiful sunrise in the morning and we are really enjoying the feel of Qiemo. We ran out of equipment and we will refill the trailer in Niya which is 315 km away. We have cycled over 4000 km and we are pushing with our hearts...Wish us luck, we still have some work to complete today!
昨天我们骑行了140公里，今天只需要骑60公里就可以了。我们在一个有着美丽日出的早上醒来，在且末的感觉真好。我们送出了所有的东西，将在下一站补充装备，还有315公里呢。我们已经骑行了4000公里了，我们一直用心骑着…祝我们幸运吧，今天还有很多工作要完成呢！

The winds out here are unpredictable as we continue traveling through the desert. We only came across a few life forms yesterday during our stretch from Ruoqiang to Washixiaxiang...We had a light day yesterday in which we only cycled 80 km and when we reached our destination we came across a great community!
我们继续在沙漠中前进，风还是不可预料。昨天在从若羌到瓦石峡的路上只能偶尔遇见为数不多的人…我们昨天还算轻松，只骑了80公里就到了当天的目的地，在那里我们经过了一个很不错的社区！

There was a mini festival taking place in the village and we stopped by to visit with the people. Children were all over the place and we wish we had more equipment to handout. The food was fantastic and we ate some "Xinjiang Lamian." The village is predominantly Arabic and when they speak Chinese it is difficult for us to understand. Ho Young is slowly losing his powers to communicate the further west we proceed, but we are really enjoying this region because it is very unique from other places we have traveled.
那个村子正在过一个小型节日，我们就停下来去拜访一下那里的人们。那里孩子很多，我们多希望我们能送出更多的器材。这里的食物太好吃了，我们还吃了新疆拉面。村子里大多是维族人，他们说的汉语是很难听懂的。越往西走，小柳同学渐渐不灵了，因为和这些人说汉语挺费力。但是我们很享受这里的风光，因为这里其他任何我们走过的地方都不一样。
