Day 3 Yixing to Danyang

Everyday we are pulling weight and battling heat to get to our next destination; however, the elements of nature will never break our spirit and ultimate goal. We are stronger and inspired more than ever because of the great people we have met along the way and the support we are receiving from our friends and family. We have a power surge, here we go baby!

我们每天都拖着重物，顶着烈日向下一站进发。 自然的力量永远不会击垮我们信念和目标。我们比以前更强大了，因为我们一路遇见了很多了不起的人们，而且我们得到了众多朋友和家人的鼓励和支持。我们充满了能量，我们出发了！

Our original plan was to stop in Lishui, but after reading a comment from one of my students "Violet" it inspired Ho Young and I to keep pushing forward. All the support we have been receiving has given us so much strength and motivation. Ho Young has been amazing and has never showed a moment of weakness. However, at times I am sure he is thinking "here goes Hayes again planning an extended 30 km night ride". However, the "Korean Express" has been displaying his inner power and is a natural when it comes to interacting with the people of China. If it wasn't for him people would think that "Big foot" is invading their local community and I wouldn't have a clue of how to use my new I pad....

我们本想在“溧水”休息，但是在读了我一个学生Violet的邮件后，小柳同学和我决定咬牙坚持再继续向前。这么多的鼓励和支持给了我们更多的力量和更坚定的信念。小柳同学这一路的表现很让我惊讶，他从不退缩，相反，我觉得有时候他一定在想：这个Hayes又要加30公里的夜行军了。这个“韩国快车”表现出了内在的强大力量，并且能和中国的朋友们很好的沟通。如果不是他，可能这些人们会以为我这个“洋大脚”是闯进了他们的家园，也多亏了他，否则我还不怎么会用这个新的Ipad。

We are now in Anhui Province in a town called Danyang. Today we rode 134 km and Decathlon will be meeting us in Hefei to reload the trailer. We have been stopping in communities away from the highway and many of the locals have never seen foreigners before. It is pretty nice to stop by and make a contribution and everybody who has contributed to this cause has put a smile on the faces of many children, youth and adults. Jiayou baby!

我们现在来到了安徽丹阳。今天的任务有134km，将在合肥的迪卡侬补充装备。我们在高速公路附近的一个社区停了下，那里的人们还从来没有见过外国人。在这里停一趟很值得，给这里的孩子们、小伙子们和成年人带了很多欢笑。加油吧！
