Day 33 Ruoqiang to Washixiaxiang（若羌-瓦石峡）

The winds out here are unpredictable as we continue traveling through the desert. We only came across a few life forms yesterday during our stretch from Ruoqiang to Washixiaxiang...We had a light day yesterday in which we only cycled 80 km and when we reached our destination we came across a great community!
我们继续在沙漠中前进，风还是不可预料。昨天在从若羌到瓦石峡的路上只能偶尔遇见为数不多的人…我们昨天还算轻松，只骑了80公里就到了当天的目的地，在那里我们经过了一个很不错的社区！

There was a mini festival taking place in the village and we stopped by to visit with the people. Children were all over the place and we wish we had more equipment to handout. The food was fantastic and we ate some "Xinjiang Lamian." The village is predominantly Arabic and when they speak Chinese it is difficult for us to understand. Ho Young is slowly losing his powers to communicate the further west we proceed, but we are really enjoying this region because it is very unique from other places we have traveled.
那个村子正在过一个小型节日，我们就停下来去拜访一下那里的人们。那里孩子很多，我们多希望我们能送出更多的器材。这里的食物太好吃了，我们还吃了新疆拉面。村子里大多是维族人，他们说的汉语是很难听懂的。越往西走，小柳同学渐渐不灵了，因为和这些人说汉语挺费力。但是我们很享受这里的风光，因为这里其他任何我们走过的地方都不一样。

Today we will continue traveling along the 315 highway. The next town is 200 km away and if the winds are acting up it could be a long battle. However, we have our supplies and we are ready to go! Zaijian...
今天我们将继续沿着315国道前进。下一个城镇在200公里开外，如果“风老爷”不合作的话，那将又是一场艰难的挑战。不管怎样，我们已经补充好装备，准备好出发了！再见…

This boy living quarters was positioned outside and we were happy to give him a ball.
这个男孩子在露天地方住着，我们很高兴能送给他一个篮球。
