Day 38 Minfeng to Zong Talecun（民丰-宗塔勒村）

Today we took off from Minfeng and started making our way towards Hetian (Hotan). We enjoyed our time in Minfeng and we ate at a fantastic restaurant in the city center. We were cooking today on the bikes and we were covering a lot of ground. We reached a town called Keriya and we met a couple who are hitch hiking from the Ukraine and heading towards the unknown. They were nice company and they gave us hemp bracelets as a gift. In exchange we gave them some bananas....Good luck to the two of you and if you need help don't hesitate to call us！
我们今天从民丰出发，朝着和田前进。在民丰的日子很令我们享受，我们在市中心的一个餐馆里吃到了非常好吃的食物。今天我们得在自行车上自己做饭了，又走了好长一段路，来到了一个叫于田的小镇，在这里我们遇见一对从乌克兰来的徒步旅行者，他们也不知道自己的目的地是哪里。他们是很友好的同伴，送给了我们大麻手镯作为纪念，我们则给了他们一些香蕉…祝你们两人好运！如果需要帮助别忘记找我们！

We continued venturing through the city and we decided to stop to buy some water. There were a few kids around so we gave them a frisbee. Ho Young was playing with a couple of the boys and he tossed the frisbee towards one of the kids and the boy wasn't looking and it hit him right in the nose. The father came storming out of the store and took the frisbee and threw it on top of the roof. He was irate and told us we needed to take his son to the hospital....First off it was an accident and secondly, the boy was hurt for a moment and clearly didn't need any special attention. If Ho Young would have broken his nose, then of course we would have taken the appropriate action, but this was not the case....A bunch of locals appeared on the scene trying to calm down the angry father and I could tell they were on our side because they witnessed the act of charity and the accident that took place. In the end both sides couldn't understand one another and we climbed on to the roof to retrieve the frisbee and apologized for the accident that took place...
我们则继续在城市里游玩，也停下来买了一些水。我们周围有几个孩子，我们就给了他们一个飞盘。小柳同学和两个男孩子玩了会儿飞盘，当他把飞盘扔向其中一个孩子时，那个孩子没有看到飞盘过来了，他很不幸被飞盘打到了鼻子。他的父亲很愤怒地从一个商店里跑了过来，捡起飞盘就扔到房顶上去了，他依然很生气，说我们需要带他的孩子去医院看看…首先，这只是个意外，再者，那男孩子只是被碰了一下，显然不需要送医院。如果小柳同学打断了他的鼻子，那显然我们应该去医院，但现在不是那么回事…这时候上来了一群人，他们帮着安慰那个生气的父亲，我能确定他们是站在我们一边的，因为他们看见了我们在做公益，也看见了意外发生的过程。但是直到最后，我们双方还是不明白对方的意思，我们就爬上房顶捡回飞盘，并且对所发生的意外道歉…

Today we cycled for 150 km and we decided to confront a family about staying on their property for the evening. We got rejected once prior to us finding a location; however, the police and head military official showed up on the scene...We still don't know how they found us, but I believe the word must have spread after we got rejected from the first family we confronted. The police told us we couldn't spend the night at this location because it was a matter of security....In the end we obeyed the officer's request and they placed us in a compound for the evening....We were disappointed because the family was very kind and we gave them our last soccer ball for showing us their hospitality.
今天我们骑了150公里了，我们决定找个人家过夜。但是遭到了拒绝，我们就只能找地方安营扎寨了。不过，警察和部队领导却出现了…我们一直纳闷他们怎么发现我们的呢？但是我相信在我们被第一个人家拒绝的时候，就有人给他们通风报信了。警察告诉我们说不能在那里过夜，因为涉及到安全问题…最后我们服从了他们的要求，他们把我们安置在一个人家过夜…这家人非常友善，但是我们觉得有些不好意思，因为我们只有最后一个足球了，没办法多给他们一些东西表示感谢。

Tomorrow we will be heading to Hetian which is 135 km away. We are now 650 km away from Kashgar...I can't believe our journey is almost coming to an end....I wish I could just keep on going to Kyrgyzstan...We are still waiting to hear from Decathlon about the equipment situation...We really hope it comes to us soon! All the best...
