Day 7 Lu An to Gu Shi

Yesterday we said goodbye to the province of Anhui and now we have entered Henan. We cycled 115 km to get here and we experienced a little bit of thunder and lightning along the way. Lighting struck a tree that was 30 feet away from us, which was pretty intense at that given moment...

昨天我们告别安徽省来到河南省。我们一路上顶着雷电骑了115公里。一道闪电劈到了一棵距离我们仅仅30英尺的树，当时的气氛很紧张啊···

The tranquility and beauty of the country side has been outstanding. As well, the people have shown us great hospitality offering us watermelon and drinks once we take a rest. These peaceful settings and the genuine interest from the people has made the ride very enjoyable.

我们一路上感受着乡村的宁静和美丽。这里的人们也非常热情好客，他们在我们休息时给我们西瓜吃，还给我们水喝。我们很享受这一路安逸的环境和淳朴的民风，这也让我们的骑行很令人享受。

We have now cycled over 800 km and now when we look at a map we are getting further and further from our starting point of Shanghai. Our day begins at 7:00am and doesn't finish until 10:00pm. We make several stops to hand out equipment and we teach children basic rules and technique of sport over that time.

我们已经骑了800公里，现在我们再看看地图，发现我们离始发地上海越来越远。我们都是早上7:00出发，一直骑到晚上10点。中途我们停留了几次，送出一些装备，并教给孩子们一些基本的体育规则和技巧。

Yesterday we made one stop that stood out from the rest. We gave a group of three children a soccer ball and frisbee, but the Grandma was not pleased about the idea of them playing because they were suppose to be doing their chores. She ended up chasing them around the front yard with a stick trying to get them to give back the equipment; however, we were on the children's side, so we decided to take off on our bikes which gave them no opportunity to give back the equipment.

昨天我们有一次在停留时给一家3个孩子送去足球和飞盘。看着他们玩这些东西，一旁的老奶奶好像不太开心，因为这妨碍了他们干农活，她拿着棍子追着孩子们满院子跑想让他们把球和飞盘还给我们，我们当然站在孩子们一边，就尽快的上车出发，让他们没有机会把东西给我们。

We are now getting closer to Xian and today we have a 155 km ride ahead of us. I am going to go wake up sleeping beauty and get our day started. Bye for now.

现在我们渐渐接近西安，今天有155公里的路在我们前面。我已经准备好出发了，再见！
