Day 9 Xin Yang to Tong Bai

This post is coming from my tent outside of the city of Tong Bai. We started our day a little late because we had a big day yesterday. I am currently sweating buckets inside my tent and I am regretting the decision of positioning my tent right near the swamp...

We had a light day and we met a family that told us we could use their property to camp for the night. They were beyond generous and they provided us with bread, eggs, watermelon and vegetables. This family gets together in this area of Hubei every summer to escape the heat; however, I am absolutely cooking right now and I am going to be going for walk right after this post is completed. Their family dynamic is great, even though I can't understand everything being said, I can tell they are having a lot of fun.

今天相对轻松一些，我们遇到一家人家告诉我们晚上可以用他们的地安营扎寨。他们极其慷慨，给我们提供了面包、鸡蛋、西瓜和蔬菜。这家人每年从湖北聚集到这 里来避暑。我现在绝对热得不行了当完成这篇博文后我一定要出去走走。这个家庭充满活力，虽然我听不懂他们讲的每一件事情，但是我知道他们很享受、很快乐。

Ho Young has the VIP suite right beside the family's house. He even has an extension cord positioned inside his tent so he can recharge his cell phone....His language skills have been coming very handy as the majority of his requests have been granted...I am just waiting for the pizza hut delivery guy to show up to give him his order...The only thing coming into my tent is potentially a snake, but I heard they are not poisonous so I should be in the clear...

小柳同学住在这家人旁边的一个VIP套房。他甚至还牵了根电线到他的帐篷里，给他的手机充电…他的语言能力真是得心应手，多数要求都能实现…我就等必胜客外卖的出现…唯一到我帐篷里的可能会是一条蛇，但是我听他们说没有毒，所以我也就放心了…

Tomorrow we are refilling the trailer and heading to Nan Yang. We have a big day ahead of us tomorrow in which we will be cycling 150 km. Ho Young has already requested French toast and a cheese platter....so I need to get some sleep to ensure our "Grace" is well fed and ready to go for tomorrow....Good night from the swamp.

明天我们将再一次装满小拖车，并前往南阳。明天又将是一个艰难的日子，要骑行150公里。小柳同学强烈要求要吃一个法国土司和奶酪…看来我得赶快睡一会儿，养足精神，为明天做好准备…在沼泽边跟大家说晚安。
