Day 20 Ding Xi to Lanzhou

We are now in Lanzhou and we arrived yesterday afternoon. We are excited to hit the road every morning and we are feeling stronger than ever. Your support motivates us to cycle with passion and we thank you for following our journey across China thus far...This picture was taken on the Zhongshan bridge which crosses the second largest river in China known as the "Huang He".
这里是兰州，我们昨天下午刚到。我们每天早上上路时都很兴奋，感觉自己比任何时候都要强大。大家的支持一直激励着我们前行，谢谢你们至今一直关注我们的旅程…这张照片是在中山桥上拍的，这座桥横跨了中国第二长的河，“黄河”。

Yesterday we encountered rain, but throughout our trip mother nature has been on our side. I forgot to bring my rain jacket so I purchased a stylish Chinese raincoat to stay dry...They actually work quite well and I find myself becoming more Chinese everyday.
昨天下雨了，但是一路上大自然一直站在我们这边。我忘记带我的防雨外套了，所以我就买了这种在中国很典型的雨衣，以保持干燥…这雨衣其实很不错，我发现自己一天比一天像中国人了。

Our first day of our trip some kids told me I look like a "laohu" which means tiger in Chinese....so I decided to introduce myself as "laohu" anytime I interact with the children. They think it's hilarious so the name will stay for a short while.
我们上路的第一天，有些孩子说我长得像老虎…所以我决定只要我要和孩子打交道我就说自己叫“老虎”。他们觉得这很好笑，所以能暂时记住这个名字。

We have now cycled over 2300 km and we are now moving into the wild west! Cheers to the adventure that is still to come....Zaijian!
